I have an S8+ that needs to go out to pasture and was poking around my carrier's (AT&T) website for a new phone.

The Google Pixel 6 Pro and Galaxy S22+ caught my eye, and after pricing them I noticed they were $200-$250 cheaper on Amazon. Is there a huge negative to buying one of these phones that I'm not aware of?

Also, if I were to purchase one of these phones, all I'd have to do is swap the sim card from my S8+ to one of these phones and I'll be ready to go, correct?

Just need to check the model numbers. It might be an international model number that doesn't have all the correct LTE/5G bands that ATT would use.

For example, there are this many versions of the S22+

Versions: SM-S906B, SM-S906B/DS (International); SM-S906U (USA); SM-S906U1 (USA unlocked); SM-S906W (Canada); SM-S906N (Korea); SM-S9060 (China); SM-S906E (Asia/Africa)
