Q re: Home area on streaming services

I am using Hulu tv. I’m in a rural area so my best internet option at the moment is att fixed wireless which is a cell service. It appears that if the power goes out, I get a new IP address assigned and I’m locked out because the service reads a different IP address for my internet. The dish is pointed to one tower but I guess I don’t have a fixed IP address( at least that is my best guess). And, I have to call tech support to override each time. Is there a way to fix this? And, is this even the problem? I’m assuming it is since the customer service always has me check my IP address so they can manually input it.
Also I have starlink rv that will be delivered this week so I will be trying that out and assuming the speed is better than my fixed wireless internet, I’ll use the starlink for my service. Does anyone know if starlink will give me a fixed IP address?
Thanks for the help.

I don't think you'll have a static IP address unless they've changed recently.
You could probably create a VPN on a VPS and get a static IP address. But those aren't free and might be more trouble than it's worth.
To me the best option might be to switch from Hulu to another provider.

Thanks (I’ll ask my computer guy to decipher this for me tomorrow) and look at other live tv services. I expect however that all live tv services are similar. I appreciate the help. I just cut the cord so I’m in the learning phase. I hope I dont have to go crawling back to direct tv.

I don't think Sling or Philo requires a static IP.

ISP doesnt normally assign static IPs, rather its an option you can pay additional for if needed.
What device is running the Hulu tv? I would suggest deleting the cache for the app and restarting the device, then see how it handles next power interruption

Youtube TV does not have this issue, either. HULU is a PITA.

Fire Stick is what I am using, although I can access it through the TV function as well. I may install an uninterrupted power supply that should at least protect against these quick power flickers that caused the problem. In order to clear it, do I just unplug it and plug it back in? I really appreciate the help.
