Signed up for the free trial today and out of all the streaming services, I believe Vue has the package for the money.
Recently, I saw they added WAFB channel 9 (CBS) as a channel on the most basic package so it's definitely worthwhile especially for football.

One of the only streaming services to offer DVR as well. Definitely worth it. And you can also use it as a service provider for watch ESPN and the like when not at home.

the whole on-demand thing on Vue is pretty awesome as well. Tons of shows available.

Do you know if it's compatible with Google Chromecast? I saw mostly Roku and Firestick...
Thinking about switching this week if it works ok.

How's the quality? I'm so torn on getting Vue because I'm weary of streaming through PS4. Also do you get live tv? Or is it recorded stuff only?

Much better than WatchESPN....and Yes, you get live channels which you can record and rewind or rewind while watching live.

Yes and no. You get live for all of the traditional cable channels. You get On Demand prime time shows for ABC/CBS/NBC/Fox depending on your market. Baton Rouge got the CBS affiliate WAFB added about a month ago but that's it. For now BR only has On Demand access to prime time shows for ABC/NBC/Fox. Hopefully they'll get those deals worked out before football season starts so I don't have to set up an antenna to watch Saints games.
I will also say that judging by what others have posted in Pelicans game threads, there is a slight delay watching FoxSportsNO in PS Vue vs using your PS Vue login to watch FSNO in the FoxSports Go app. But you get access to the FSGO app so it's not a big deal.

What about the NFL draft? Think ESPN would carry it on there or nah?

Yes. I think you are looking at this a bit wrong. PS Vue is pretty much like cable TV except it's delivered over the internet. You get access to live streams of every cable channel they say they carry plus the on demand apps for most if not all of them. The only place where you don't get "normal" access is with the traditional OTA networks in markets where they don't have deals worked out with all of the local affiliates.

Yes, anything that comes on ESPN. The only games I've seen blacked out were when nfl network had games that were also on CBS and Twitter.

It is. Chromecast is one of the few devices capable of projection Vue at 60fps. Looks great on Chromecast.

It's great, imo. They give you a free 7 day trial, go sign up and then stream it. If you don't like it, just cancel the membership and you have 7 days anyways to watch.

Can you cancel subscription anytime?

How do you stream on multiple tvs? say 2 of my kids are watching in their rooms, my wife in our bedroom, me in the livingroom. I don't have a PS, so it would be through my PC I assume. Do I need a chromecast on every tv? or a fire box or something? I have 9 tvs. Obviously you can only stream like 3 to 5 separate channels at a time or something, right? I just need to know what I have to put at each tv in order to get vue working through my computer.

You can watch it through
PS3
PS4
Amazon Fire Tv
Amazon Fire Stick
Roku
Apple Tv
Android TV Devices
Cell Phone
Google Chromecast
Computer

So I'd assume for chromecast you would have to use a cell phone in your room to access vue app or UI to pick what you want to watch and then cast it to the specific room from a drop down list of streaming devices on the network. Otherwise, all the other options have boxes or a UI that you can navigate with. I think chromecast is the only one that is cell phone dependent?
