Google announced today that Project Fi users will soon have a few more device choices. Three new phones will work with Google’s wireless service: the LG G7 ThinQ, the just-announced LG V35 ThinQ, and the Moto G6.

Up until now, customers could only choose between Pixel phones, Nexus phones, and the Moto X4. The Moto G6 costs $199 through Project Fi and is currently available to preorder through the Fi website, while the G7 ThinQ and the V35 ThinQ will come to Project Fi next month with a $50 Fi service credit for each preorder.

It's been a while since I've used a G phone but their V series has been really good in my experience.

The barrier to entry for Project Fi gets better. They need some more mid range phones though.

My LG G5 has been one of the best phones I've ever owned.

I got my mom a 5X a couple of years ago and it's still going strong. She's had no issues at all.

Mine bootlooped six months in. Refurb bootlooped six months after that. Fi refunded me the full $250 or whatever purchase price, so I bought Pixel 2 and got $100 in Fi credit that came along with buying it.

I felt like a winner

There was an issue with the bootloader on the nexus 5x running bullhead firmware. Was looking for more cores than the chip had hence the boot loop. I've seen some fixes involving altering the internal components when it's only the bootloader (at least that was the culprit when I got the boot loop).
