Preserving logical drives when moving from 32 bit to 64 bit Windows

Hoping someone can help me out with an issue that I haven't quite been able to figure out by searching online.
I have a Windows 7 desktop with a Samsung 110 GB SSD for the C: drive. I also have a 1 TB Toshiba HDD installed that is partitioned into 5 logical drives (F:, M:, P:, W; and Z).
The system has 16 GB of RAM, but the installed version of Win7 is only the 32 bit version. I am wanting to upgrade to Win10 64, both to upgrade the OS as well as to take full advantage of the RAM (and install Adobe CC which needs a 64 bit OS).
I know I can't do an upgrade from 32 bit to 64 bit, that the system drive will need to be formatted and a fresh install done.
My question is, is there any way to preserve the logical partitions on the HDD, or will I need to back everything up and then install Win10 and repartition the drive with the new OS and then put the files back on the particular partitions?

I would unhook the partitioned drive until you are done with the upgrade then reattach it. You may have to reassign which letter is which but that shouldn't be very difficult.
