Parents Onkyo randomly turning off and back on

My dad just called and said his Onkyo 636 will just randomly turn off and immediately back on, regardless of what the dtv is doing
He’s using dtv so nothing is idle. I haven’t changed any setting nor have they.
Any ideas? Factory reset?

Granny messing with yall. I had a HK doing this and had to retire it after trying resets and what not.

Is it running warm? Might have some thermal protection circuit.
