Been looking at these mesh systems. Our router currently sits upstairs and we have an extender downstairs, and this system sucks, seems the Mesh systems are much better suited to our setup.
I have one question...does the base unit Obri unit replace your router or do you hard wire it into your existing router?

The Orbi is a router but can function with your existing router if you choose to.
They also make an orbi with built in modem but I wouldn’t recommend that
