Options to airpods pro

I want headphones that sound good and stay in your ear while you cut grass or work out. The ones I have now suck.
I'm looking into airpods pro but damn that $250 price tag is making me look for other options.
What do you recommend?

If you want just regular/cheap bluetooth earbuds with most of the same features, you could look at something like this. There are many different brands and price points for similar ones on Amazon.
If you're interested in trying Apple AirPods, you could always go with with the regular/original version and see if you like them first. You could probably find a set without the wireless charging case for about $130 when they go on sale.
I was always adamantly against Airpods due to the price and the concept of paying so much money when there are clearly much cheaper alternatives, but then I received a pair as a gift and I have to say they're pretty amazing. I still don't know if they're worth hundreds of dollars, but I guess it depends on how you use them, like for Zoom, calls when you're on the go, listening to incoming text messages, etc. They really work well for switching between audio sources like getting in and out of a car, which can otherwise be frustrating.
Probably not worth it if you're just using them to cut grass, and I still use an older set of bluetooth earbuds for working out, because they tend to get pretty nasty over time.

I use Anker Liberty Core Neos for those things and they work very well for a small price. I’d recommend AirPod Pros over regular ones just for quality. But Anker’s are great and you’ll save a bunch of money.

Trump bought my wife the Pros for Mother’s Day. Great guy.

I have been eyeing the new Google Pixel Buds (2?). They look like they might stay in the ear much better than the AirPod Pro's do, especially while running.

if they had noise canceling i would have already bought them. im in the market for the wife, but she wants noise canceling.
otherwise, if you dont need anc, they seem like a very solid buy. getting good reviews.

Just got mine in this morning and am really impressed. They dont have ANC but honestly I dont notice an issue with the lack of it. The ambient noise volume adjust deal is pretty nice, of course I havent gone from a really noisy environment yet. Only had them a few hours but extremely comfortable and sound good.

new92, have you tried a run or physical activity with the Pixel buds 2? I have an iphone so I'd lose functionality with pixel buds 2 but honestly, whatever.
I need comfortable and fitting headphones for running/gym. The airpod pro's are "ok" but I notice that for my ears, I have to adjust a lot with them, especially on long runs (3+ miles).
ETA: Also, what's the profile like in your ears. I don't mind the airpod pros in people's ears but honestly, we're all starting to look alike now. I like being different, to some degree, with headphones.

I haven't yet, but they are so light and fit so well I dont see it being an issue. I had an offbrand pair for the past year that I would mainly use when mowing, biking etc and they would fall out or come close to it pretty easy. I did swap to the smaller tips that came with the pixels and havent felt them budge at all. Honestly, I think the lightness helps out a lot if that makes sense. Like they dont gain any momentum to move around once they are in.
The profile is pretty slim, looking in a mirror straight on I really dont even notice them actually. They dont have that piece that hangs out of the ear like the airpods do. They only have the round body that fits pretty closely to ear/head.
On aonther note, its pretty cool how easily they pick up voice commands too, with my phone in my pocket they picked up voice activation that my phone didnt or wouldnt if I said it at same volume without them in.

Another bonus, well for me anyway, is the charging case is pretty small. I dont even notice it in my pocket. Before these my wife had a offbrand and the charging case was relatively huge. She got a pair of the pixels as well and as soon as she put them in she immediately said it was night and day.
I'm not trying to sway anyone but I legit think they got the hype right on this one. One drawback I did read about was a lack of bass but in my opinion its a non-issue and I listen to everything from slipknot, 80s punk, to rap and reggae lol.
