Old Receiver/ Amp repair on northshore, LA

My very old Sansui receiver integrated amp has lost its "umph" recently and I have been looking recommendations for an electronics repair shop in the Mandeville, Covington area, or Slidell, Hammond or NOLA. Does anyone know of a reputable place that still repairs electronics from the 1980's? TIA.

I think your only bet is going to be the place on Sherwood in BR, Adavanced Video.
I've been bringing my stuff there for years, and they always do good work. I was talking with the lady in there a few months ago and asked if there were other places that repaired A/V stuff in the area. She said most have shut down, and they now get business from Lafayette, Houma, NOLA, Gulfport, etc.

Richard Gray across from Ochsner Hospital on Jefferson Highway in Metairie...the place is a run down shithole called National TV repair—don’t let the sight of the place fool you—-it’s where all the audiophiles of New Orleans go for their uber expensive gear repairs.
There is also a guy in Luling that repairs transistor amps and receivers as well, but I forget his name—google it.

He wouldn't do my car audio amp, so I'd call first. Has TVs stacked to the ceiling in that place
