Love the fact they have bein for soccer, but need nbc sports and fs1 to get premiere league and champions league.
I live in the country so I can't get over the air channels with an antenna. Just too far away. Hopefully new Apple TV addresses that.

Recently cut the cord and I am looking for suggestions for a digital antenna. I want one that I can also bring out to the tailgate during football season. Any suggestions? Not looking for anything too expensive.

I've tried the indoor antennas to no avail because my tv isn't near a window so I broke down and purchased a
"Antennas Direct C2-V-CJM ClearStream 2-V Long Range UHF/VHF Indoor/Outdoor DTV Antenna with 20-Inch Mount",
That I bought from walmart. The antenna cost me 99 bux...I installed it in my attic and I now catch all my locals crystal clear and all of them in hd... Hope this helps....

sup fellas,
in the process of cord cutting. have 105mbps Comcast Blast. Brand new Netgear DOCSIS 3.0 modem and Netgear Nighthawk router. Getting 85mbps pretty easily throughout the house for the most part.
Got some questions tho.
- I have one deadspot for wireless in the house. The man cave. I get at best 40mbps but it isn't consistent. Running Cat6 cable thru the attic would be hazardous to say the least. Anyone have experience with Wifi Extenders? Looking at the NetGear brand.
- SlingTV. I would like to have the extra channels for the old lady to use and for football season. Instead of depending on IPTV. But you can't install SlingTV on Kodi or can you? And my big TV, LG 55" Web OS 2.0 doesn't appear to have a Sling app either. Thoughts / Suggestions? I have a Roku 3 I'm not using, can i get Sling on Roku?

Sling works great with ROKU, but Sling sucks a bag of d**ks when it comes to watching sports. It is absolutely horrible. If you are a sports fanatic like my self, I highly recommend staying away from SlingTV.

For the 40mbps dl speed make sure that your cable with no splitters run straight to ur modem and router...all u need is around 25mbps for good streaming.... And no you cannot run sling tv on kodi....you can have sling tv on ur android device and order it... On kodi, the channels you want run perfectly fine with new alternatives to iptv, you just have to know which add ons to have for ur ivue tv guide....

I recently purchased a Fire Stick with TVMC Preloaded and signed up for the Sling TV free 7 day trial. I watched a few reruns of SEC football games on SEC Network through Sling. The motion does not seem as fluid as regular Cox cable on my plasma. Is this to be expected? I am debating on the 3 month of prepaid Sling Roku 3 deal.
Also, I tried to watch some TV shows through TVMC. I mainly went though Genesis and 1Channel. Everything seems to be standard definition and the audio seems really low. Is there anyway to filter for HD shows only or any better add ons to use for better quality? I realize I shouldn't be too chosey since it is all free. Thanks.

On genesis, there is a list under movies section for hd movies...many of the movies section have hundreds of movies in hd, 1080p and what is called hq or high quality...if you stream or test a movie that had sd or low quality...wait a while...later it will be in hd....gensis and naviX I think are favorites among the kodi population

it was the same for me. Not terible, but definitely noticed a little lag. You can relly tell if you watch the ticker at the bottom of espn.

Just got sling installed on my Roku. Looks pretty good to me

Just wait. Live sporting events are the worst.

I have had Sling since it came out. I use Roku3 and have not had issues with sporting events or other channels
I have 50M down speed and have a Fiber connection
Your issue could be speed or the fact you are using cable for internet- which is not as clean as fiber
