Nexia vs. Ecobee vs. Nest

Has anyone had experience with any of these platforms? I'm looking at installing an American Standard AC/Furnace system, and the dealer has quoted the Nexia 824 with the system. Not sure I want a system that requires a subscription in order to access it by by cell phone.

Installed a nest last week and love it.

Ecobee 3 Lite version. Cheap and just as many features as everything else. It even supports the remote sensors now. No reason to buy the more expensive versions.

It averages out the temp differences between all the sensors to determine when to turn off/on air/heat.
I have one sensor because we have one room that has poor circulation and stays much hotter.

I installed a Nest thermostat last week and I'm really pleased with it. I've got two thermostats but have only changed one out so far. Those things are quite pricey still.
I also installed a Nest outdoor camera. I can control both from one app which was important to me. I didn't want to have to go to a separate app to control my thermostat and spy on my neighbors.

I have an Ecobee3 and it is awesome. Energy bills are $50-75 cheaper a month with this and switching over to LED light bulbs. I've already recouped the approximately $350 I put in and then some.
The Ecobee 4 is out now and has Amazon Alexa. It's $250. You can still find 3s with one sensor for around $180. The lite is $160-170.

Watch ebay, they go buy it now for much cheaper. Have picked some up for $130.

The ecobee3 regular version is only like 185 now, and it comes with a sensor
Better value than the lite for 160
If you can get a lite for 130, better deal
