Good morning, all. I am looking for a new laptop that will allow me to run video editing software, Adobe software, Office/Google applications. Not a gamer, and I am not worried about that. Would like to have multiple USB ports (2 at least), 17" screen as well. I do have a DVD drive currently, but I don't think that is absolutely necessary moving forward.

Any recommendations are appreciated.

The new XPS 17 from Dell would be a good bet. What you’re asking for is expensive though.

Do you have a preference for Windows or Mac?

Why do you want a 17 inch laptop? Thing will be a beast to transport. Get a USB-C docking station and a nice monitor or two.
