Hoping to get some help on a new iPad for work.

~$400 budget for just the tablet. Will be almost entirely used for walkthroughs: taking notes (Notability is what they use), taking pictures, etc. I don't think I need much processing power, battery and a decent camera are my main needs.

I have never used an iPad for work, so asked for some input. Two of my peers are using refurb 10.5 iPad Pro. One is using an older model model iPad that he bought new.

So my question is: do you think it would be better to get an new iPad? Or get a refurbished "higher end" model, such as an iPad pro or Air.

TIA

refurbished apple products most times are just as good as new.

If you are buying from Apple, they replace the battery and give same warranty.

However, you're not buying from Apple.

Refurbished from Apple is pretty good. Bought 2013 Macbook with ssd late in 2013 and its been no issues at all. Actually best laptop I have ever owned. Having said that going from PC to Apple is different.
