New IOS update wiped out Face ID, now won’t setup

Phone updated to 26.6.1 last night (iPhone 17e) and it wiped out my Face ID. I have tried several times now to set it up and it just keeps spinning while pretending to set it back up.
I’ve read a few troubleshooting tips on the web and none of them are working; rebooting, cleaning obstructed sensors. No luck so far. Do I need to visit to hell known as the iPhone store?

My 17e updated last night and facial recognition is working okay.
