So, I can't watch Netflix on my Philips smart tv. It works when I log onto my work computer and also at wife's work.
I've tried unplugging the tv, resetting internet. Any advice? I'll also add that I'm not very tech savvy ...

Does your tv still connect to the internet? I have a samsung that has the same problem but it will not connect to the internet anymore.

For your Samsung it could be the known DNS issue. Go into your network settings and manually change the settings to either of the following:
For google's DNS
Primary 8.8.8.8
Secondary 8.8.4.4
For OpenDNS
Primary 208.67.222.222
Secondary 208.67.220.220
It should connect after that, it is a problem I see pretty frequently.

Do a tv "reset". Turn tv off hold power button on the tv for about 30 seconds. Now im unsure if you do this while its plugged up or unplugged.

I had a similar problem with our bedroom TV about a month ago... Unfortunately, I had to reset the TV to 'Default' settings and re-login to Netflix.
Think of it like a cache on your TV that doesn't forget that it's broken and perpetuates that mentality.
eta: Our's is a Sony Viera from like 2013(?)... the first year that Sony had a "SmartTv", maybe?... so much so that it can *only* be hardwired... haha
