Yeah, I know. But since this is not really my cup of tea, I started out assuming I'd screwed something up in the install rather than assuming the new piece that came in was bad. But yeah, this is where I'm at now.
Unless someone sees some obvious problem with what I've done here, or has some solution in terms of the stupid Cam software, I'll be ordering the new part today and trying that.

I'd also check to see if you have the MSI Center installed. That's where I control the RGB on my Tomahawk MB.
