Did your 1070 die or just looking to upgrade?

It is a horrible time to buy a gpu. Good luck finding something near msrp. Crypto miners have inflated price significantly. Your best option is buying a 1080ti from nvdia directly.

whats your price range? You going to be overpaying big time for any video card worth a damn right now

Markup on almost all cards is over100% and most are sold out. Horrible time for a new system. It might be the worst time ever.

Nvidia keeps delaying their next generation too so I wouldn't hold my breath for that.

Have note been able to find a new one- there are used ones.
If you have a link for a new one I would appreciate that

Wow didn't realize card prices had jumped so much. So glad that I bought my 1080 Ti last year for 750. I'm seeing it listed for almost 1k now if you can even find it in stock.

They're getting back down to $800 now

Where? EVGA dropped the prices on their site but the prices are meaningless because all of the cards are sold out.
Not sure I believe those prices will stick once they restock.

They bumped the price up again, proving the cheaper prices and even the current prices are meaningless.
I checked Tuesday and some of the cards were in the 800s. Now those are almost back to 1k.
And they were never in stock. Today, the prices are up and they still aren't in stock.

1080tis come in stock about once every 2 weeks at 699 a piece. Limit 2. and you better have your info ready cause they will sell out in 5 mins.

I don't understand how people are still buying these things for $800+. The return time is nearly a year, if not more

Just look at the pictures of some of the mining operations. It's insane how many cards they have.

It is not just about gaming, you need this is you do serious video editing or graphics-
It is not an option
It is amazing that with such a demand they can't increase production to keep up with demand
