Recently I took a new job where I will be on the road a lot and I want to get myself a laptop that I can do everything for work but also be able to play Call Of Duty in the hotels in the evenings. My only experience with gaming laptops is the one my son has which is an Acer Helios Predator 300. It is a great machine but it has a 15.6 inch screen and I think I want to go to a 17. Can anybody help with some recommendations? TIA!

I have an Asus ROG thats great and 17” and it’s 5+ yrs old and doing well, but i really dont game on it so its more like a workstation. Bought one kid an MSI mid-tier gaming laptop couple years ago and he games more on console than a game or two he plays on laptop. Im kinda looking at a new laptop for my startup business (IT) and was going to probably keep with Asus.

It all depends on your budget and use case. Will you be dragging it around for client engagements or site work? Cause im looking at 14-15” laptops that are lighter and easier to drag around.
