I have a big Dell rewards credit to use and I'm looking at the Epson EcoTank ET-4760 All-in-One Supertank Printer or the Lexmark MC2535adwe Color Laser Printer.

I know lots of people talk about laser being cheaper but it seems these supertank Inkjets are close in cost per page. I won't be using the printer daily for business printing but I do have a small business and do enough printing, scanning, copying, etc that I want a good one and since it's free to me I'm going better than I likely need. I do want to get the one with the lesser ongoing costs.

Anyone have experience with either or have suggestions? It must be from Dell. TIA

I would much rather have a laser. I've been watching alot of star wars lately. Would it be a green laser or red laser. There's alot of cool stuff you could do with a laser and a printer just sits there. Just don't point it at aircrafts

Bought a laser printer a few years ago, never going back to inkjet. Food for thought, the 2 printers you mentioned: 8 vs 35 pages per minute in color, should be a no brainer.

Inkjet will use a lot more ink in the long run.

I looked very long at that $40 black laser printer on Amazon yesterday (think it was a Brother).

Yes, it's just black. Yes, it's not wifi. And yes, I have 2 functional wifi color inkjet printers running.

But I have some old computers laying around, and I was seriously thinking of hooking one up as a printserver, and using this particular printer for just documents

Edit- hell, I just talked myself back into that, and it was still available. Ordered that a pair of cheap replacement toner cartridges too, along with a cable. total price was 64.
