Mint Mobile increased data allowance today

Starting next month, I'm getting 8 GB/mo instead of 5, all for the same price, and I've got 11 mos left on my 12 mo plan. Not too bad for $240 paid in advance. They're not increasing the price of the 12 mo plans, either. Was not expecting this.

Just bought a couple of 3 month 5gb sims for $20 each. Waiting for my Cricket service to run out. I've had TMobile before, so the service should be good where I am.

Mint is T Mobile. Data works great indoors in all the places Sprint did not work at all in BR when I had the free year last year, and there were many such places.

I’m starting to investigate moving family service to one of the discount providers. Art is fligu in dry each month for $368 four phones on their unlimited plan. We barely use 20 g between the four of us each month. How is mint? Service good?

are you sure it is T Mobile based. No service where I live for Mint, plenty of service for T Mobile...

Fyi-if anyone is interested in trying them, they are running a special right now for buy one month get 2 free. Comes out to $20 for 3 months. I'm going to give it a try and will report back.
