Wanting to get wife(no pics) a MacBook for Christmas. I'm not Tech savvy in the least. All I know is she has mentioned wanting a new MAC. She has one that is 7 years old. needs a lot of memory as she does a lot of editing /restoring photos and design work as well. I know that's not much to go on but any help would be appreciated. Thank you

BH PHOTO has a deal where if you open up a credit card you don't pay sales tax. So I just buy crap on there and pay the whole thing off right away and save the sales tax.

You can also get an Air for the same price, basically the same thing, just lighter and no dumb touch bar.

2 suggestions.

1) Black Friday is coming soon, deal info should start being leaked. Unless she needs it RIGHT NOW, I'd wait a few weeks.

2) Apple has decent discounts on refurb models all the time. Varies as to which model & config, but be sure you get one of the newer M1/M2 models. For example here is a 16GB RAM, 512 GB SSD 14" at $1709:

Macbook Air

Macbook Pro

Can't go wrong with either. Also, Definitely either version with more storage.
