Looking to spend around $700 on a 65”-70” tv

Need a bigger tv for my bedroom. Just moved into a new apartment and the ceilings are extremely tall and the wall that my tv is on is far from my bed. It looks really silly with a small tv on it. Looking to upgrade my 45”. I’m not a huge snob on the top of the line TVs. I just want to be able to watch movies in bed and be able to see it clearly. I was looking at the TCL’s bc of proce but I feel they are too crappy. I also saw an LG around the price I want on best buy’s website.

The TCL 6 series is supposed to be one of the best bang for your buck TVs. Might be a little above $700 though for a 65”

Damn just checked that out. The difference of $200 from the shitty TCL to that one may be worth it. I’m going to go to Best Buy tomorrow and look at them

I just got the 55" TCL 4 series for $329 at Costco. Can't beat it for the money.

70” $800
65” $630
Best Buy pricing.
I just got the 70, not bad at all for the price. There are definitely better out there but I think it’s a great value. Just know at that price point you aren’t getting a top of the line tv, which it sounds like you do, and you will be happy.

I'm going to have to check that out. How does it perform in dark rooms? A buddy of mine told me that his 4 series has pretty awful blacks when watching movies, but the quality is incredible for games.

i have the vizio e-series 65" and i love it.
the TCL is supposed to be a great TV but enjoy playing the panel lottery. something like 1/3 of TCL panels are supposed to be defective or some outrageous shite like that.
