So with a pihole, where does it plug in to the network? Or is it just really a wireless mini-PC that you plug in to power once it's set up and let it go?

I should do this, but I think I can set one up on my server when I finally build it.

You just put the pihole on your network, then configure your router to use the pihole as your dns server.
