Looking for an app that will help me for a last minute presentation.

Will the Power Point app for iOS work? Or is there anyother app that can assist?

You can do presentations from the iOS PowerPoint app, but the question would be how to get it to the screen? You'd either need a Lightning to HDMI cable, or a TV/Monitor/computer with monitor that supported AirPlay so you could cast your screen.

Buy a Logitech presenter. Here.

I've used one for almost two decades. It's got a timer, forward and back buttons, a laser pointer, brilliant.

There are ways to control the desktop of your laptop, but they will inevitably fail when you need them. Honestly, if it's super last minute, I'd just buy a USB extender for your mouse, depending on how much you walk around on stage. Make fun of me as much as you want. As long as you keep your hand underneath the movement sensor on the bottom (optical or laser), the cursor won't move, but you can hit LMB to advance the slide.

Especially when we're dealing with third party (ie client sites,) I place zero reliance on anything they have for anything to work, but the projector. Remove the chance of failure from their hands for everything else.

If you're really in a bind, I can overnight you my R800 with a USB-A dongle and charged batteries, as long as you send it back.

I once again sailed past what you were asking, so ignore my previous comment. That's the problem I've had to deal with for 20 years, so I was pre-sprung to respond to it.

You need adapters for whatever turns your laptop video output into: HDMI, USB-C, or DVI-D, and potentially VGA. Your output may be HDMI, DisplayPort, Mini Displayport, etc. Buy them all if the company pays for it. Otherwise, don't pay for it.

It depends on the client site. Call the office manager where you're going and ask her what is in the conference rooms. You *may* be able to project to their TVs, depending on their TVs/Projectors and your laptop and the controls placed on it by corporate.
