Hello all. Building a new camp and I’m trying to streamline my music. Looking at WiFi audio systems like Sonos. My guy that’s installing my cameras and security also does Juke Audio. It’s supposed to be app driven and WiFi like Sonos but cheaper. Any of you have any insights with this product or similar products? TIA

I'm not an AV guy, but if you're running speaker wire what is the advantage of Juke vs something like Denon HEOS gear?

That’s why I’m asking…I have no clue what all of this does and the pros and cons. Tell me about this Denon HEOS…

I just stumbled across this.
I have owned a Juke Audio system for 3-4 years. It's a great and simple appliance. It connects to up to 6 sets of wired speakers. Juke then plugs into your local network. Once connected, you'll see the 6 speaker pairs as options to send audio from your phone. Juke allows grouping of speakers, so that you can make a downstairs group, outside group, etc. It also supports AirPlay 2, so you can pair your Juke speakers with any other speakers that support AirPlay 2 (like some of the high end portable speakers). The main limitation of Juke is that it sends 40 watts per channel to your speakers (unless you want to splurge on the Juke+). This is plenty loud for virtually any occasion, but it won't be as loud as most receivers.
My family loves the Juke. The kids use it to stream Spotify all the time. It's a great solution for those that want something that "just works".
Let me know if you have any more questions.

Thanks for the info. One of my main concerns was the loudness. I have no clue how loud 40 watts is. But…I do like to jam on Sundays on the patio while cleaning up to leave. I’m looking at 6 pairs of speakers. So 6 on the outdoor kitchen/patio, 2 in the gameroom, 2 on the upstairs balcony, 2 in the living room/kitchen. We use mostly Spotify and Pandora. Also would like audio out from my TV on the patio to play the games over the speakers. I know everyone likes Sonos but I’m not sure about wireless speakers

Juke would work well for your situation, especially for Spotify and Pandora. You can pull up the song on your phone and pick the speakers where you want the music played all from within the Spotify app. Super easy. I'd say the volume is great for normal applications. At full volume, you couldn't have a conversation over it. If you want to run a nightclub with high volume dance music, get something else.
The easiest way to get the audio from your TV to the Juke system is to add an Apple TV box to the back of the TV. That will allow the TV audio to be sent to Airplay 2 devices. Juke supports Airplay 2 so you can send the TV audio to any Juke speakers plus any portable speakers that support AirPlay. BTW, you'll likely have to use the Apple TV to get the TV audio to Sonos if you go that route.

Haaaaaaaaa!!! Well…maybe not nightclub loud!! I just didn’t want elevator music! I think I might look into the Juke + also. Thanks for all of the help!!
