I have an email sent from an anonymous emailer. I would like to know if or how can I find out who or what server sent me this email. Any help would be appreciated. My cell 3379454804 if you need more details and would like to help

The expanded headers are a good starting point. They show the IP of the servers that processed the email.

That's where I'd start as well. Though beware that IP addresses may not necessarily be the best indicator.

Speak to me like I’m 5 yes old! I know nothing about IT. Do I need the actual email or can I give an email address?

your firewall or windows defender should have the source information on the email sent to you. that should give you the IP address. you can whois that, then call the ISP and claim harassment.

even if you had the source IP, without being law enforcement, you wont get the name associated with the IP address. Law enforcement has to request / subpoena those records from the ISP.

Check the headers and go from there.

This email was sent to my child’s school incriminating her. The sender dug up actions from a year ago and sent through an anonymous email acct. I have to try and find the sender to prove malicious intent. It was her and 6 other students that were punished. Trying to see if there is also a statute of limitations.

I think you're going to be really hard pressed in this day and age to track down the sender of an anonymous email. Even if you have what you think is the originating IP address, IP addresses can be faked pretty easily. As someone else also mentioned, without involvement of law enforcement, you likely won't get very far regardless.

I figured but I was willing to try. This day in age with cancel culture it’s a shame is now starting on students in school. I hate the new world we’re living in.

Try to login to the email and do the forgot password option. Should give you part of a cell phone number that you should help somewhat. Was able to figure out who sent an anonymous email this way recently

Or, let her learn a lesson

Her lesson has been learned a-hole! I knew one of you pricks couldn’t help yourself!

You can expand the headers, which will - potentially - show you the originating IP address, plus the server names.
Presuming this is just someone that created an email account to send something anonymously, I doubt there's anything in the email address that would indicate who they are.
If they didn't do anything to mask their location (going from spoofing IPs to the more simplistic solution of connecting to a free wi-fi somewhere), even WITH that IP address the best you'll come up with is a city and an ISP. The ISP isn't going to give you the information on who the went with. That would take law enforcement getting involved.
So basically, unless the person did something really stupid in the email to give away who they are, or you can do it by process of elimination, you'll either need to call the cops or let it go.
Plus they really should have called someone after running over that hobo.
