My last phone i had a iPhone 5s and it just stopped charging and no matter what charger I use it won’t turn on. I got the iPhone 8 now and I had family pictures on the last phone that I wanted to get off of there. I know it’s my fault for not saving them or backing them up but is it a loss cause now?

Get Apple to repair the 5s. It'll cost you but that is probably the only option. (Unless someone has a better idea)

I talked to Apple and they said they would charge $50 to repair the phone but that I would have no data on the phone since I didn’t back up anything. This sucks lol

Data recovery services are probably your best bet, like drive savers, but they are expensive and there is no guarantee or recovering photos

Did you try connecting it through I tunes to see if it will open up and maybe open up photos? Just a thought.

Very expensive. I had no idea until I took a portable HD to them for an estimate. $150 for starters and then up from there. Noped out of that real quick.

Go to a local phone repair. It’s probably something simple like the charging port or battery. Normal they have test phones and they will put your motherboard into a test phone and back everything up.
