Is the Nexus 6p capable of casting?

I found it and also enabled screen mirroring on my LG tv but my phone says no devices found. I have to be doing something wrong

I think Google pulled some apple shite and only allows the Nexus phones to cast on Chromecast

It can only do with Chrome, I googled so it is an option that is pointless for me.

If you have the latest Android version you need to pull down the menu and then hit edit at the bottom right to add it to the menu. It isn't there by default or at least it wasn't when I updated.
