And can you save shows/similar to DVR?
Thanks in advance.

Playstation Vue
Available on Fire TV & Fire Stick, Roku (NOT Roku TV's), Chromecast, Android phones, PS3 & PS4.
Up to 5 devices can be registered to it at one time. Unlimited Cloud Based DVR Storage, but only lasts 28 days.
Has SEC Network, ESPNs and is adding NFL Network and NFL Redzone in the upcoming month.
Don't be turned off by the name..it's not just for Playstation.

Does it work ok with fire stick?

I wouldn't recommend it. Fire tv is smooth and fluid. For $60 more, it's worth it considering the savings.

No

I have had sling and Vue and I can't even compare the 2. Sling ended up being $30 with the added channels needed. PlayStation Vue is $35 but with Many more channels, and it can be used on multiple devices. The cloud/dove technology is sweet and I haven't even considered cancelling.
I signed up for sling before Vue was available in my area and I wanted to like it but still wasn't that impressed.

Playstation Vue
Quick question: We aren't into Playstation games. As such we don't want to shell out 300 plus bucks for a PS4. So other than the PS4, what is the best and most family friendly interface for Playstation Vue? Roku?

Ok, we have Amazon Prime so Fire TV seems appealing but many customers are complaining about the increasing sleazy ads on Fire TV. What's your experience/take on that aspect?

I haven't seen any increase in adds on my fire tv so I don't know what they are talking about. I've been using Vue since it first came out and switched from Sling. It's currently better than Sling.

Thanks for your timely response. So you like the Fire TV interface and remote? It's responsive (little lag) and the menu system is good and easy to use?

Vue
I have no clue what it will be like once their network gets hammered, but there is no comparison with SLING. Sling is garbage.
Pay no attention to the Sling fans. They must actually work at Sling. It is slow and tremendously choppy. It freezes on Ads.
Don't listen to the knucklehead who will claim my internet sucks. Odd how I get no buffering / slowdowns or lockups on VUE, Hulu, Amazon, Netflix or CBS access but somehow my internet is the problem with the piece of crap known as Sling.
Having said that, if Vue didn't exist, I would be using Sling again for football season, but I don't need to worry about that since Vue does exist.

Depends on where you live. Sling is $25 for me and Vue is $45. For $50 I could go back to cable.....with a house phone too

You may be confusing the Fire tablet with Fire TV.

It never ceases to amaze me how people start out as cord cutters and wind up with essentially a poor substitute for cable and pay as much for it as the original basic cable.
And the party is going to come to a screeching halt when the data caps that AT&T and Cox are rolling out start to take effect.
If you live in a metropolitan area, get an antenna for your live TV and add a DVR with built in streaming like the TiVo for on-demand viewing with a subscription to one of the streaming services like Amazon Prime. Fifteen bucks a month and that's all you'll ever pay.

Sling works fine for me on a fire tv. Is it the best...no, but it has the channels I want and is 25 bucks.
About the ads, Hulu has the most aggravating ads shoving trannnys and gays down my throat and then making me pick between what tranny or gay commercial to watch.
If you do either, just get the fire tv. I have a fire stick in the bedroom and its slow and choppy.

signed up for the VUE trial so far Technology is way superior to Sling
The reason cord cutters get sling and vue is simple
SECTV
