Is now a bad time to hire a mid to senior level IT infrastructure person? (BR area)

I'm curious what you guys think of the job market right now in Baton Rouge? Is it hard to hire during the pandemic, or easier because of the economic contraction?

In the past I've found these mid-tier positions to be difficult to fill when compared to entry-level and manager positions.

eta: I'm hiring.

I browse the IT job listings on a daily basis and there's always plenty of openings at all levels. I don't know if that means some places have high turnover or are expanding though.

I've worked in IT in BR for 20 years. The job market is so so like it's always been. I've known a number of people who fit your description that have changed jobs during Covid though.

You set on staying in BR? Have a security clearance? What salary range are you shooting for?

I'm hiring, not applying.
