iPhone SMS texts in group messages

For some reason about half the time I’m in a group text with a non iPhone user, my messages will not go through. It seems like it’s normally when sending photos of gifs. Anyone know what the deal is and how to fix it!

Similar with me at times and is his or miss. I generally reboot my phone. Ive also tried deleting and recreating group text, but no definitive fix that i know of.

Apple does not play well with others. Use Facebook messenger or Whatsapp for those group messages.

Mine is just the opposite. I can send pics, messages don’t get through.

iMessage has always had issues playing with Android phones.

I think the issue might be the cell coverage at my house… I get terrible cell service at my house via AT&T. My understanding is SMS messages don’t use wifi and work strictly off cellular. So when I’m at the house I can’t get pics to send. I plan to switch to Verizon pretty soon
