iPhone 15 keynote

Should start in about an hour. Looking to upgrade my regular 12 to a 15 pro. Battery life is around 84% and performance is starting to slow. I think three years is a sweet spot for phone upgrades considering the minimal changes year over year.
Also may upgrade my AW series 3 (finally) if the 9 impresses. I'd imagine the six year leap would be huge.

I'm probably going to upgrade as well even though I have the 13 pro max. The always on display is something that seems worth it now with standby mode. I know I shouldn't upgrade for only one feature but I'm sure there will be other things to make the upgrade worth it.

I will probably upgrade my 12 pro to a 15pro max, especially if they offer the large trade in amounts for 12 or newer phones like they have done in the past.

I can't imagine anything great from this one as it should just be incremental updates to everything. Not sure what else they can do but not sure this is the year/season for anything truly impressive.

I’ve been sitting with an 11 Pro and looking forward to the release and upgrade.

When does the new iOS and WatchOS come out? I'm more looking forward to something new on the OS level than hardware.

I find the public beta is pretty stable right now, but probably within a couple of weeks.

they are wasting time effort and money making this stupid video about clean energy. They usually just have a graphic explaining all of this instead of a video.

Yea, look I'm all for clean energy but if all they say is true, they've had to buy a ton of solar powered LIPO battery backups. Those stuff require so much mining and such to make those batteries. It's a talking point but actually probably caused more damage to the environment than just using coal/nuclear power (whatever they use in Cali).

Na, apparently the new S9 apple watch just has the "touch to scroll/open" functionality with finger tips. Hardly anyone will use that and it will get triggered by accident so much, people will turn it off.

I'm not bothered by it. Apple is doing too many refreshes too frequently, in my opinion. It's why there's usually a "tick-tock" type releases.
Like the apple watch ultra was a "tick" release. It was a "new" product so to speak. Now the ultra 2 is a "tock" release. Kinda meh, at best but this is what happens when you refresh a product every year or year and a half.

I once was excited about usb-c but with magsafe charging, meh. The only time it wins is when you need to REALLY quick charge.
