Trying to decide if the Pro is worth the extra $300.

Like most people we use the iPhone camera for our primary camera, so it’s nice to have a decent lens to capture family photos, etc.

But I can’t tell from tech reviews the practical difference. It appears the Pro has an additional third lens for taking close-up detailed shots. If true, I many not use it that often, if at all.

Can anyone tech-savvy help me figure out the practical difference?

I am not an expert by any means, but I would say no to the extra $300.

Am curious to hear from the photogs on this subject.

Once upon a time I was more worried about that differential. I feel like these days just about any phone has a camera that more than checks the box for basic home use

biggest difference in cameras is the 15 base model does not do macro photos. If that matters, you'll want to spend the money.
