I have Cox internet and the internet has been slow lately and the modem and router are fine according to cox and net gear. The net gear people said it’s probably a poor internet connection. I have a splitter on the original coax cable. Im gonna replace the splitter and the coax jumpers. So what’s the best high quality splitter and coax cable? Spare no expense.

Where do you like to shop? Home depot? Lowes? Walmart? I can give you some direct links if you provide a site.

Basic splitter info:
-2-way
-75 Ohms
-5Mhz-1,000Mhz is minimum for cable, 5Mhz-2,000Mhz will work if you ever want to use it with satellite too
- -3.5dB or better
This one is fine.
Coax: RG6. As long as it is RG6 you will be good.

With my cable/internet connection, the internet coax had to have a specific filter on the splitter piece, then the rest of the cable coax connections ran of rest of splitter connections. So if i wanted to move our cable modem from Room A to Room B, i would have to also go outside and change the matching cables to the filter.
