Instagram problem?

My IG has been showing the same 2 posts for 3 days now, then right below it, shows the all caught up check, then goes into "suggested ads" I'm not seeing anything from my friends.
I've closed out the app. I've turned off my phone, anything else I should try?

When you go to your feed where it says Instagram, click on it and a drop down appears. Click on following and it should make your feed chronological with your friends content. You may have to do this every time you open. I'm not sure.

Looks like i do....so why did my regular feed change up I wonder?
And I did ask my teenager...
they didn't know.

Log out and log back in.
