In Word, I need to push a line of text down

about a quarter of the space the enter key would normally push it down, how can I do this? I need the text to fit in the right space on a certificate. I do not have a template for the certificate (just the bought printed forms).

I'm no Word pro but I would probably fill the whole page with a table (with clear borders obviously) and position everything that way. Merge cells as needed. Basically make your own template for that cert.

I may not exactly understand issue but can you create a blank line before the desired text line and just select that line and set it to a very small font size? IOW, your line spacing may be set to auto or 12, this just makes a line space a size 3 or 4.
Or try adjusting the line spacing immediately above. Same idea.

I would be inclined to create a template, but if it's a one off, I would probably do something like this, combined with editing the setting for the space created by a full paragraph break. Between the two, you should be able to get it close enough.
