123456 is your security code. Dont share it.
Four or five today, same yesterday and the day before. I have a PayPal but haven't used it in a few years. I assume somebody is trying to hack me, unsuccessfully so far. Anything I need to do besides ignore it?

If you have a PayPal account and it has a password, change you password every so often. Otherwise, if there is no activity on your account, ignore it and don’t give the code to anyone who calls or texts.

And make sure the new (and old) password you used is not on any other accounts. They'll spam every financial institution in the US with at least your old credentials.

do not ignore it. Go close your paypal account and have them delete your personal info.

This this this this. Don't ignore this. If you used that password anywhere else, and ESPECIALLY if you used it in combination with the same email, just consider all of those accounts have their passwords compromised and go on a passwordreset rampage. And don't reuse passwords. Get a password vault and have it generate pw for all accounts
