I just got one of the new 24 inch Apple Mac computers. Why are some apps not available?

I’ve had a iPhone forever but this is my first Mac computer. Why are some apps, particularly capitol one, not available on the Mac?

Because there is a Capital One webpage that’s better for a computer.

Apple allows developers of iPhone and iPad apps to opt out of allowing them to run on a Mac for a variety of reasons including performance and different design choices. It’s not available because Capital One decided not to make it available.
