Need a little more detail than that. I'm not concerned with how quickly/efficiently/competently it fetches results from X number of data blocks, as that's largely dependent on hard drive performance. I wanted to know its limitations on search parameters. It was my biggest pet peeve with Windows 7 and was the first time I actually had to find a third-party file search application (which actually does more than I need anyway).

The biggest problem is they forced people used to the traditional desktop interface through an interface optimized for touch devices. Microsoft fell behind and thought they could make it up by jumping ahead of the curve and going all in on touch, but they left much of their audience behind in the process. The worst part of this is that it'd be pretty trivial for them to give everyone the best of both worlds and not have everyone thinking Windows 8 is something to avoid.
