Before next season ESPN is supposed to be launching their own service with all the live ESPN channels.
I would imagine it would cost more than what they are currently charging for ESPN+.
OTA can only get so far, with sports and depending on your market, some of the retro TV networks look blocky and blurry on a large TV due to compression and the fact that some this older content was only mastered in analog standard definition. Although Adobe and some AI enhancers are coming a long way to make old content look decent on an 80 inch TV. Some of this reminds me of when Ted Turner started colorizing black and white films and TV shows.
As far as news, you will get only what your local stations are dishing out OTA, but YouTube has a lot of legit snippets of content from Fox News, plus sometimes pirate streams before they get axed.

Here's a little trick you can use. In Google, you can set up a family group of people who 'live with you' and then they can log into YouTube TV under their own Google log-on.
The 'family' member can use this somewhere else, and YouTube TV will, of course, notice and give you up to 90 days to watch. However, if you return to the location where the account is registered, and log in to the wireless WiFi with your phone, and open up YouTube or YouTube TV, then Google thinks you're back 'Home' and after that you're good for at least another 90 days. The master account is the only one that can make changes or charges, so you would not be able to order up NFL Ticket , for example. Only the account owner can make charges.
So how do you exploit this? You get a close friend or family member to add you to their account. Whether there is a financial element to that is up to whatever you agree to, but let's say you split it. In that case, you are getting YouTubeTV for under $50 a month.

Will probably spend 20-30 a week instead of 70-90 a month.
Get fubotv in August. Cancel in February.
I do it yearly for football

Even if your a total cheapskate and only spend $20 / Saturday. There’s 4 CFB in a month, so you’re already paying he cost of YTTV. What a moranic suggestion
