So cord-cutting was always going to be a two phase process: phase 1 was separating the content from the delivery platform (TV service and ISP are different companies), and phase 2 will be breaking the bundles and the market down so we can buy content direct from the producers and *only* what we want. I'm not sure phase 2 will ever happen.

I think it's going to be a generational thing. Millennials cared less about live TV than Gen X did. Gen Z appears to care less than Millennials. If that trend continues, I think they will have to balkanize just to get business. Gen Z appears to have next to zero appetite for paying $100/mo to be told what time they have to sit down to watch something.

We pay $29 a month for cable including HB0 and the other movie channels...

You can only get that deal with gigabyte service internet but I was going to keep that anyway.

Are all IPTV services hard to navigate? I have only seen the one my friend uses.

It's the app used not the service that will make it hard to use. I use Tivimate on my Google tv's and IPTV Pro or IPTVX on my Apple TV. These apps make navigation very easy. It's really not much different from navigating a normal cable or satellite guide.
