Hub for locking z-wave door locks

I have Kwikset smart locks and Ring cameras and looking to be able to lock and unlock my z-wave door locks from my phone if need be. Is the Ring alarm hub worth it or should I go with something else? Samsung Smart-things, Amazon Alexa, Hubitat?
It looks like the Ring one I have to use their new ring pro base with its own router to have z-wave, or am I wrong? I like my current router.

SmartThings Hub no longer exists. Aeotec actually manufactured the SmartThings Hub previously, and it seems Samsung sold them the rights to the IP, and now Aeotec sells their own branded hub.
On the geek boards, nobody can tell any difference between the hub when it was branded Samsung, and the Aeotec label. It did get more expensive for the same hardware, but I am pleased with mine. It got upgraded to support Matter within a few days of the standard's approval.

I have a new smart things hub in the box still. Is it worth anything?

Based on your list, hubitat is the answer. 100% local control plus an active community developing for it.
If you want to go more nerd, get a used computer and install home assistant with a zwave usb stick.

Absolutely. If you're not going to use it, sell it to OP or put it on eBay.

I have an old smart things hub but could never get it to work with my schlage locks. Haven’t tried with the kwiksets.

My ex has Vivint and it was just so user friendly. But I don’t want to replace all my cameras

Ended up getting an echo show 10 for the kitchen. fixes the hub situation, adds a camera to my back door, and allows me to pull up recipes while cooking.
