HP spectre 15" laptop several keys not working

For the last week I have serveral keys on my 15" HP Spectre laptop not working properly.
Random keys w, s, x , 3. 4 .5 mainly of the left side of the keyboard. No matter how hard I strike they don't respond.
They are working now that's why I'm able to complete this post. However they randomly stop working. I've tried blowing air under and around without much success. The laptop is out of warranty. I've changed keyboards on older models but this one looks like a challange and to be honest not sure that's the problem.

Based on the symptoms and the pattern of keys not working, yeah, it sounds like there's something shorting in the keyboard. You could probably fix it by disassembling and deep cleaning it.

Time to clean the spilled coffee out of the keypad.
