How much do you pay for your mobile phone service and does it suck?

I have three people on mine through Verizon and pay about 200.00 per month for unlimited minutes, messaging but data is crap. I get like 2 GB per month which gets shut off like halfway through the month because someone doesn't know how to use wifi. Am i getting ripped off?

I pay $3.80 a month for Sprint unlimited talk/text/data with 10GB hotspot.
It's not as good as the Verizon unlimited service I used to have, but at 4.2% of the cost, I'll take it.

$3.80? Is this a typo? If not, please enlighten me.

Nope, not a typo!
If you have a Sprint-compatible phone that is paid off and unlocked, Sprint will give you a free year of service if you transfer your existing lines to their network. There is no contract and no obligation to remain a customer with them after the free year is up. You only need to pay like $12 for a SIM card to be shipped to your house, and then every month you have to pay taxes on the line, which for me amounts to $3.80.

You can only do this offer online, you can not do it in store and they are not advertising it. I've been on it since June and it is absolutely the real deal.
The unlimited data is also unlimited LTE; it's none of that "unlimited data but it's really only 2GB and then you get throttled down to shite."

$30 for unlimited talk, unlimited text, unlimited* data (no overage charge but they throttle the speed if you exceed the limit). Downside is there are a few spots around here where I don't get a data connection.

My wife pags $0.00 with freedom pop gets unlimited text talk and 1gb but it does kinda suck, but it works for her. She's had it over2 years now and is not a teaser rate.
I pay $35 for 6gb data talk and text from Verizon towers under total wireless. It works as well as Verizon.

I pay $50 with Consumer Cellular which uses Att towers and its good service....I get about 3 gigs of data and never get close to that. Buy I was reading about Freedom pop today and need to investigate them. They give you .5 gigs for free and about $20 for 3 gigs.

I'm on it, too. I can't believe they're still running it. It was supposed to end at the end of July.

I pay $55 a month for unlimited talk and text. 15Gb LTE then throttled after that.
I would recommend Straight Talk to anybody because they use the Verizon towers. Coverage is the absolute best.
I've had a cell phone for two decades now and this is the best service I've gotten. Of course I've never had to call customer service, but without a contract, why would I ever have to? There's never going to be a billing issue.

Same here but mine is only 12 GB. Doesn't matter, I've never used more than half. My only complaint is the coverage in my area is not quite as good as ATT. There are a couple of places where indoor reception is bad or nonexistent

$156 for 4 lines on AT&T
-20GB (or 25, can't remember) shared data w/rollover (we always have 30+ available)
-Unlimited talk and text
-19% discount through work
-All phones paid off (I work worldwide, have to have an unlocked phone)

I looked into the unlimited to get the DTV discount, but it would add ~$50 to my phone bill to get a $25 discount so that's a no go.
We never even get close to going over data limits so it's not a big deal.

Guessing you can't two iPhones from Verizon and use the sprint deal...

I just switched to Consumer Cellular. no contract, change plans without penalty whenever you want. Uses ATT network. I laughed when I saw they are the same company that sells the Jitterbug. Happy with them so far. Highest rated by Consumer Reports also.

I'm on the free Sprint as well. Definitely serviceable for free unlimited. I'll be switching to whomever offers the best deal once the free year is up, though.

$140 including taxes with T-Mobile for 3 lines of unlimited everything. T-Mobile kickback gives me a $10 credit on each line that uses less than 2 GB a month. I like it.
The coverage with T-Mobile is much better than it once was. It is great in most cities.
I tried Project-Fi for a while but it wasn't saving me money because of my data usage when traveling and once we decided to get my daughter a phone the thought of a teenager on a non unlimited plan gave me chills.

80 bucks a month (1 line) for unlimited from Verizon. I used 43 gb last month so I need unlimited.
