Hooking up Klipsch Subwoofer to Heos Super Link Multi-Room Surround System (Technical)

Hello, I have a Denon Heos Super Link multi-room surround system in my house. Below is my AV closet.

Klipsch Subwoofer
When they wired the house and installed everything, they did not include a subwoofer.
I recently bought a Klipsch wireless subwoofer. The problem lies in installing. It should be easy to install per this diagram. The subwoofer cable per the diagram should go in the Pre Out (L) SW jack.
The problem, however is that in that port for that zone (living room) already has a white wire coming out and going to one of the amps. In image below it is the white jack all the way to the left in the picture. (In the living room i have 2 Elura 6" in ceiling surround speakers.)

Additional Information: The 2 black jacks (black and red, and black and white) in the Line In 1 ports go to this device, which is connected to an ethernet jack. From google, i think this is a repeater???

Do you mind if I ask who installed that equipment?
The HEOS is just your streamer and it’s feeding the single to those badass Elura amps. What zone are you trying to add that sub to ? You need to get the signal out the Elura amp for that zone.
Also that piece with the cat5 and RCAs is and audio balun. It’s probably feeding the audio from a TV ? And feeding it into the system.

I had 1 amp, but was getting some distortion in my speakers so they came back and added a 2nd amp.

That makes sense as to why i have no available port on the heos. I'll look up the Elura amps and see how to connect from there.

That's correct. I remember them saying i had a balun. I have 2 speakers in the living room, 2 in the kitchen, 2 in the bathroom, and 2 in the outdoor kitchen area. The audio from the living room tv is fed to all 4 zones via the Balun, if that sounds right. I only remember the balun because i spoke to the guys about getting the outdoor tv connected to the outdoor speakers and he said i'd need another balun.

Only the 2 channel amp has a preout on it for adding a sub. So hopefully that’s the zone you want the sub on.

shite. I hope so. Last time the guy came out, i asked about installing a sub and he said it would be easy to do, and i could do it myself or he could walk me through it. So hopefully that's the case. Thanks for the help!!!

Wireless adapter shouldn’t matter and the RCA out on the amp is correct.

I'll report back when i get home if this works. Thanks for the help. You may saved me a pointless service fee to have someone plug in a jack.

No offense but their cabling work in your rack/cabinet looks like shite. I'd be embarassed if my people left a project with it looking like that.
If they come out ask them to properly dress and tidy the cables and label them for indentification.

Yeah, if it doesn't cost me anything, i was planning on seeing if they could come out and utilize the other shelf. Everything is stacked on top of each other and seems to be an overheating hazard waiting to happen. Really my only complaint, otherwise they've done a good job and have addressed the issues i've had at a reasonable timeliness, so far.

Did they try to sell you a rack and you not want to pay for it ?
Those guys do really good work so I was surprised when you named them. I had a list of about 10-15 guys in my head and they were not one of them.

No. I have 2 shelves and they only utilized one to put every piece of equipment on.

Like i said, i haven't had any issues with them. I had the issue with the speakers getting interference, and they fixed that with the additional amp. Maybe they meant to go back. They were setting everything up on move in day, and we still had the contractor doing touch ups and other things while we were bringing in furniture and boxes and stuff. Also had Cox over trying to install their stuff simultaneously. Maybe if it was just the AV equipment on one shelf, and the cox/directv/internet shite on another it wouldn't look so bad.

I would utilize the second shelf to cool the amps down a bit. At least I don't see a cable box or satellite receiver in the stack. Those things can generate a lot of heat.
Do you have any ventilation at all? Like I said, I'm surprised by the sloppy looking work with the cabling. It's not hard to do it correctly and if it had been done correctly and labeled you could probably add the sub easily yourself.

Well, wrong zone is connected to the 150/2 amp, so I will have to have them walk me through it or come here to fix it.

And buckeye, the temp in the closet is around 80 degrees. I use it to proofing bread sometimes, lol.

Zone 1 and 2 of the 100/6 amp have a 3.5mm output on them. You just need to get a 3.5 to RCA adapter and you should be good. Preferably 3.5 male to female RCA.
Hopefully zone 3 is not the living room.
