Your link is to a product at a cheaper price point but all options near the cheaper price point are used/refurbished and none are from the actual manufacturer.
I'm a huge fan of refurb but that's a poor comparison IMO.
ETA: Having said that, I just went in for the AWD version as I know Amazon will make it right if I don't care for it or we have a snafu on the back end.

these are NOT refurbs.
i've bought nearly a dozen at this price off amazon marketplace and installed them for friends and family with zero issues.
many came as part of a commercial HVAC install where they opted for a different stat so the honeywell was unused and so they can't sell them as 'new' but throw 'em up on amazon to make a few bucks.
i will also point out every unit i received seemed to be brand new and still had the plastic in place over the screen.

yes i have. the schedules, etc in wink always work without a problem but sometimes when i go into the UI to look at the thermostat it shows the incorrect 'set point' occasionally.
also 2x in the last year i've lost connection to one of my stats and had to log into the honeywell app inside wink to resolve that. both times when i went into the honeywell app it showed some type of outage had occured with TotalConnect so i assume that caused the issue downstream with wink.
interestingly, the schedules from wink still worked properly even while one of the units was showing as offline.

Have one of these at my house. Didn't know they worked with Alexa.

make sure its the wifi version. they have a 7-day programmable that looks exactly like that one.

I remember way back when you hooked me up with these. Basically got 2 for price of one and haven't had a single issue. They've been perfect. Were brand new just not in original packaging. Thanks again broseph.
