Just today I've gotten about 25+ spam messages to my primary (comast/xfinity) account. Looks like their spam filters are broken.

So you brought this on yourself, is what you're saying? I honestly didn't know anybody that wasn't pulling social security still had an att/comcast/cox email address for daily use.

I've got about 5 email accounts that i use for various purposes. This one is my oldest.

And I'm not too far from collecting social security smarty pants...

Anecdotally, I believe most providers like this leave various email security functions (DMARC, etc.) off, or on their lowest settings, to reduce support calls about why someone didn't get a password reset email from H-E-B, etc. Microsoft doesn't care if you don't get emails, there is no one paying attention to the phones, chatbots, etc. anyway.

I had to create a Yahoo account for the sole reason that the Microsoft filters filter some legit messages before I even see them. They never even get anywhere close to my mailbox, they get turned out at a domain level.
