Help with Outlook troubleshooting

I've been using the Outlook app for Windows 11 for a while now for work. My company went to using a 2-factor authentification system where you have to type in a code they send to your phone almost every time to log in. Now on my computer, the Outlook app won't load any of my emails and it's not even requesting to send a code. I've reloaded the send/receive button a bunch of times and I've also updated the app to no luck. Any advice on what to do? Also, the app on my taskbar has an exclamation mark (!) for some reason I can't figure out.

There is a free repair tool for the app. Try renaming the .ost file, which is in the outlook files directory, to an .old file, then reopening Outlook and let it rebuild the .ost.

The exclamation mark means it’s not connecting to the system Outlook. As a workaround, can you use webmail to get to you email until the native app issue gets resolved?
Check your add-on’s to see if Outlook is trying to access a feed that’s no longer there. If all/most of this is Greek to you, contact your company’s IT support for assistance. Sounds like a profile issue.

Can you log into portal.office.com with your work account and download Office from there? Maybe you are using an older version of Outlook that doesn’t work with MFA.
