Help with idea for Old Mac Laptop

I have an old Mac laptop from school. It is probably a decade old, so I doubt you could sell it. I have a work computer, kids have school computers, so I haven't used it in years.
Anyone have a cool idea for what I could use it for? Or just let it keep collecting dust?

Maybe lend its computing power to SETI? Looks easy to link up from what I've seen.

World Grid is even better. True medical research you can contribute to and take your pick of.

Just give it to a poor person. There are millions of people in the world that could benefit from it.

Put it in you shop with an audio loop of a bunch of guys bullshitting while cleaning guns. Put it in your shop, boat port etc. Rig up some external speakers. Set up a relay so that the speaker have no power when the lights in the shop are on. This way it only plays when you are not in the shop.
Great way to prevent theft of you stuff.

Try Chrome OS flex or Linux for a general purpose computer.

Sounds like an opportunity to learn Linux or BSD, especially if you put an SSD in it.
