I know, people don’t burn DVDs any more but I tried.

I downloaded every LSU game from the 2019 season and every highlight video from each game. Those are on my laptop and I used dvd ideosoft converter software. I then burned the video from my laptop to the disc using the Windows 10 burner.

I purchased a new DVD player.

I’m using new DVD + R disc.

I can get other DVDs to play on the new player but when I try to play my newly burned disc to the new DVD player I get “unknown disc”. I can play the disc on my laptop.

So, I have 15 full games burned to disc and 15 highlight videos burned to disc. Please don’t tell me all of that time and expense was wasted. Is there anything I can do to correct this problem?

I have t burned a DVD in 15 years and I don’t think I’ve had a DVD player in the last ten years. If my memory serves me correctly, you have to “finalize” the DVDR in order for a DVD player to read it? At least that’s what I remember from back in the day.

Does the DVD player have a USB drive? It’s probably easier to download the files from your laptop to a thumb drive and put the thumb drive in the USB.

It does have a USB drive. I’ll try that.

I also haven’t burned a DVD in 15 years. Thank you for your response. Other responses are appreciated.

There's a few games I'm missing from the season. Any chance you could host them somewhere?
